    Dear Beth,

You are the love of my life. Our journey together has been a phenomenal one and now God is writing in a new part of our story that is so exciting I can hardly contain myself. I have been bursting at the seems to share this with everyone. After hearing the heart beat this morning, we are finally able to share this with everyone and it has brought me great joy. I want you to know that I am committing to be the absolute best husband and father I can be. I will do anything it takes to raise our child well and to make sure that you feel loved and taken care of along the way. I know that this journey is one that will make us both more holy as it exposes our selfishness, our crankiness, and potentially some dark sides of each other that we haven’t had ample stress to bring out yet. Amidst all of that will be great joy and as long as we are quick to forgive and love each other, our marriage will thrive and our child(ren) will grow up in the type of home that will lead them to be strong and well equipped for life.

I’m gonna be a daddy! You’re gonna be a mommy! WOOHOO!!!!

    I love you so much!

I guess the skills from creating all those baby things will come in handy now! (: This is super exciting. Congrats Beth and Jason! If you need anyone to talk to in Austin who’s about a month ahead of you, my friend Emily ( would definitely be up for it. (: Hehe.

Good luck over these next few months. I can’t wait to find out what you’re having! (:

Congratulations!!! Being a mother is such a special role… there is nothing like it.

And little girls are so much fun. Of course, I’ve never had a boy (well maybe now we will), but they must be fun too, right? 🙂

We’ll be praying for a healthy pregnancy, any major decisions regarding work or staying at home, and a joy-filled time in the waiting.

God bless. And I don’t even know you, but somehow I had the hunch you were preggo? Weird.

    Hey Girly!

Do you know the sex of the baby yet?

Sorry … but I can’t offer you any advice since I’ve never had children of my own…but I know in my heart that you and Jason are going to do just fine.

It sounds like you have a great support system of friends and family to lean on and learn from, so just breathe … and remember that it’s all in God’s hands.

Try not to stress yourself out about all the details that are probably consuming your every thought.

Be sure to do something just for “you” EVERY day … maybe a nice long walk in the park. There’s something about being outside among the trees, the sunshine and the critters that really calms the spirit.

Take care! I’ll be thinking about you!
    Hugs! :o)
